Our Aim

The primary aim of the Association is to provide a level of care for, amongst others, the elderly, frail and disabled in Teesdale who are considered to be geographically or socially isolated so that, with the assistance of the Association, they may continue to lead independent lives in their own homes.

We aim to

  • Maintain the current operations
  • Develop sustainable source of funding
  • Extend the practice of community lunches
  • Introduce additional activities which will be interesting, stimulating and informative for our members
  • Provide more transport to allow additional trips and interaction between clubs
  • Develop links with local schools to involve younger people with the organisation.
